Oh the things you will do for your favorite foods. And guys, in case you have not figured it out, I am SUCH a sucker for pickled/fermented/vinegar-y things. Case and point was my DC trip this weekend. After having eaten 3 cucumbers worth of pickles at brunch, I still somehow found the craving for that delicious fermented goodness. I swear no one is going to be able to realize whether I'm pregnant or not.
And in case you're wondering, I do enjoy my pickles with some ice cream.

I know it's still January, but are we cool with having cake for breakfast? I've never been a huge fan of New Year's resolutions. While I think that the beginning of the new year gives us an indicator that now would be a good time to reflect and begin again, I've always been the type of person to make a change as I see fit. Plus there are so many different types of fresh "starts" that I couldn't possibly keep track of them all. First day of school, first day of summer, birthday. I can commit to change whenever I want.
Also isn't healthy eating easier when berries are actually in season? Think about that. |
