Friday is here! YEEEE!!!!
We have made it to the other side (Hello, it's me amiright?). What are your plans for the weekend? I'm heading home to HOPEFULLY take a run on the beach. Since moving away from the water for the first time, I always appreciate with the chance to see the ocean and breathe in that salt air, ya feel? So therapeutic.

Hello WEEKEND!
How are you? How was your week? Mine was filled with a lot of soup. Even though it is fifty degrees. My body lately has been craving all kinds of soup, but as Selena says: The heart wants what it wants. Currently, I'm backing up my cute little backpack and heading into the city. I'm so excited to finally try Inday and maybe get a Levain cookie. Because travel is all about food right? Also I might not be able to survive without satisfying my love of Levain chocolate chip walnut cookies. True story. Guys, I'm going to put on shorts and pretend spring is coming!
It's going to be 55 degrees this weekend. I know that isn't exactly summer, but I gotta find some way to celebrate. Maybe make a big bowl of banana ice cream? Maybe take my dog out for a walk on the beach? The possibilities are ENDLESS people! And I totally can't wait. Especially when it means I don't have to wear my heavy boots everywhere. They are literally a drag. T. G. I. Freaking. F
Is it just me or, as the mornings get earlier, the longer the day seems to go? And I mean that is a good thing, because it is no longer dark out when I walk to the gym (and therefore, the risk that I tumble down stairs drops dramatically). I'm just holding out hope for Daylight Savings Time (because as a food blogger, I am a slave to the natural light. You feel me? Good. Hope your weekend is Fab.U.Los! How are you guys doing this week? What with winter storm Jonas fast approaching and everything. I went to Trader Joe's yesterday to grab a couple of things and kids it was MOBBED beyond all belief. Good thing I got the essentials: shelf stable Indian, wine, chocolate, wine (yes I did mention wine twice). Since we are estimated to get around 18 inches here, I have made the bold move to evacuate to NYC and bunker down with some Netflix and blogging.
And maybe a blanket fort. Yes most definitely a blanket fort. |
